Bill Eyler, Founder and CEO

Bill Eyler, master woodworker and long-time high-school educator, founded Space Crafters in 1982. Bill has designed thousands of closets and bath areas. He takes all jobs, large or small, seriously, and makes many friends while working with clients. Bill is also a formidable musician, having sung for 50 years and serving as the composer-in-residence for the Frederick Chorale. Bill has worked with most local contractors for over 25 years. What began as a small idea has grown into a family-run company, whose designs and installations have helped to make countless local families feel more organized in their homes.


Kim Smith, General Manager

Kim was born and raised in Harrisburg, PA. After studying Criminal Justice and Business Administration at Penn State, she worked for 10 years at a 9-1-1 call center.  She entered construction when she took a job with a local excavator, before moving to Waynesboro in 2005. She married in 2006 and had her first baby, Morgan Smith, in July 2007. Kim began working at Space Crafters in December of 2006, and has since become our Lead Designer.
